Re:
Approved Access to the D-Concourse Modular Crewroom and OperationsCenter
Effective immediately, by FAA and CLT Airport security approval, any crew
member out of uniform with their appropriate company ID displayed on their
outermost garment may gain access to the crewroom via the OLD Gate D-IO cypher
lock coded door. You must remain between the trailer and the cement barricades
lined with pink tape to gain entrance to the crewroom. If you are caught out of
uniform even with your company ID displayed and are outside of the designated
area to transit to the crewroom, you will be subject to FAA violations and fines.
All uniformed crews with company ID displayed may access the ramp outside this
designated transit area in the vicinity of their respective aircraft as normal.
Please be reminded that the FAA security presence on the D-Concourse ramp is
increasing. Do not let anyone tail gate behind you or observe you punching the
cipher lock code. Please observe all security rules of the airport and FAA and
challenge anyone not displaying a proper ID.
Final Warning - NO UNIFORM w/ ID- Do not venture outside the restricted
transit area from OLD Gate D-IO to the crewroom as plainly marked!
