Re: Referring to D-Concourse & Dimming Lights

It has been brought to our attention from US Airways, that some of you have been

referring to D-Concourse as the "Trailer Park" or the "Trailer Trash," while in

conversation over the radio. Make sure that you refrain from degrading remarks and that

any references made to the temporary facilities are stated as "D-Concourse."

Just a reminder, ..please make sure you dim cap panel lights and all other dimmable

cockpit lighting when leaving the aircraft to reduce the heat as much as possible.

There has been some difficulty being able to travel back and forth from

the gates to crewroom/operations if you are out of uniform. In or out of

uniform, and wearing a company ID, you now have access from the

terminal at Gate 10 to the crewroom. You are allowed access from Gate

10 but you must display your company ID on your outermost garment.

Walking on the AOA or onto other aircraft while out of uniform is not

permitted.

Jumpseats must be received from the D-Concourse Ticket Counter at

the bottom of the escalators. Jumpseaters may no longer receive

authorization from operations. If there are any questions, please

contact the Chief Pilot's office.
